I do not want Pyschology to exist. It should be removed from all schools including Harvard, Cambridge and Oxford. The end. (I give you a 100 year deadline).

Thank you,

Jonathan

To explain this post I will elaborate –

Due to the invention of the wheel, gravity made it almost impossible to predict behavior. Gravity did not dilute and therefore religion did not dilute. Crashing on a chariot being pulled by horses was almost impossible to predict and said little about the behavior of the rider. The same goes for other wheeled vehicles. I am still stuck to the ground and gravity will pull me toward the ground tomorrow as well. This was I was always able to avoid psychological analysis because they were trying to predict where my legs would carry me. Only to find out that my legs did not carry me everywhere. Sometimes wheels would take me somewhere they could not predict. There is no reason to fear a car crash because it is simply a failure of the driver or the machinery and had little to do with generation of fear.

A lot of questions were raised and answered in the past two years:

My father was a strange man and had many interesting thoughts on life. There are a lot of ways to make one’s life difficult and I will list the ways to create strange and interesting situations.

My father’s perspective was that according to tradition there are six races and based on American history a certain amount of mixing was necessary. Inner city street trash was sort of a term used to describe the second company I worked for. Admittedly a correspondence degree wasn’t exactly the cream of the crop but here is the deal. From what I can tell even small towns with specialized and unique educations began to feel the pinch of racial mixing. A well educated woman married to a man of status in society began to feel the pull of trashy practices like shared wives (keys in a bowl) and mild drug use.

What ended up happening to the world was that religion lost its depth in that the number of combinations and unique personalities generated by religious worship began to dilute in the vast numbers of people. I imagine that after we exceed 3 billion people it almost becomes like shooting fish in a barrel (a dime a dozen). On the other hand, if you study individuals, there are unique qualities which can separate us and make our lives interesting in their own ways. The challenge being that someone becomes boring to study or be around if they are considered a copy of someone else.

My father studied psychology but from what I learned it wasn’t very helpful in the bigger picture. What I understood from religion is that by worshiping a god is that one continues to find ways to deal with problems around us despite the adverse nature of the world around us. Pollution, overpopulation, communication and industrialization can all be addressed with religious concepts. What psychology tends to do is tell us that scientifically anything is possible. The problem with studying everything under this scientific scope is that one can start to make claims about people’s relationships which may create a lot of emotional problems. Scientifically, one could say that a black male could take the virginity of a white female and produce offspring (see the melting pot of America and Barack Obama). There were problems with this concept as white males began to show interest in keeping the purity of white females, to ensure their loyalty and continue a tradition of hundreds of years. What would be described as a demonic act in Christianity would be described as a man of dark skin who was imported as a slave from Africa could theoretically have a close and pleasant marriage with a white woman. The church would show, as long as we discriminate racially, this should never happen as it would make white men very unhappy. They would say, you "can" do this, but you may find us in a highly distraught state of mind, make children with someone who has already selected a sexual partner unlike the sexual partner of her mother. This is where Mother Mary’s loyalty to God and Jesus would eventually show as symbols of loyalty. Anyone following these symbols would eventually see that as long as they maintained their loyalty they would remain somewhat happy. Their family would not break down into smaller pieces with a black, white and Hispanic child from separate father figures. This would become very confusing to the children as they had one mother figure but separate father figures which would eventually affect the intelligence or clarity of the parental figures.

Psychology could find ways to fill these gaps with mention of ethics or racial profiling, but because it was so scientific one could eventually go down a dark path of justifying racial impurities. The end question here being where do we draw the lines? Psychology won’t teach culture in the same way a business would teach culture creation. White culture would lose its distinction as black culture entered the cities. Rap and hip-hop would become popular music with young females and American males would feel a trend of disloyalty. Eventually white males would have to get attention by trying to act Black in the face of adversity. A subtle fight would be waged on the streets of urban areas as a power issue became apparent in who could attract more females.

The details of my father’s life are a little hazy and I choose not to investigate too deeply into what he believed as the correct attitude but essentially, it is my belief that he was not a very successful or happy person.

The end of this blog post will basically conclude that there is a good chance that even with an education and some ambition in a business organization, tattoos and ear rings may become common place as there is no honor in reaching the upper levels of an organization. It just doesn’t take much work or energy to figure out what is needed and the thousands of VPs start to seem kind of cookie cutter. This is where educated, American women began to find new ways to branch from their housewife culture as they had so much money they began to get lost in a suburban lifestyle. The neighbor’s would feel so close and generic that if they were not engaging in devious sexual practices, they were just another boring, monogamous urban family. Eventually, I believe a culture of monogamy will form among poor people because of the difficult of their lives. Education is not longer very difficult to find, which means that the elite lose their hold on their knowledge. This is why Richard Gant mentioned information technology as sort of a way to break society and religion because the knowledge the wealth elite once held in their university would become readily available to the masses. Wikipedia held so much knowledge that I found I was unable to to make my knowledge hard to access. Anybody could study the theories I learned independently and shame me into submission of their beliefs. The problem with psychology and thier medications ended up being that each pill had a similar affect. It may you feel satisfied temporarily but a side affect would appear with bloating and vision/brain blurring due to the artificial nature of the medication. I do not think strong chemicals will necessarily cure a mental disease after spending time around my father and his life style.choices. I do not believe that the spiritual benefits provided by a religious leader have declined just because of the chemical roots of psychology.

The matter becomes a matter of philosophical and religious discussion but intelligence and spending play a significant part in the bigger picture of human growth. After this I hope to find a way to improve on the business and economic systems in place and use them to my advantage to increase the proprietary nature of knowledge and learning. Just because you can study a theory does not mean you can use it practically. This is where I see psychology failing as an argument about the "absolute" diagnosis of the psychologist would reveal that his subjective diagnosis was not as helpful as he/she intended.

Feel free to comment on this and I believe it will become a new piece of material to dig deeper in the mental and spiritual faculties of this world and beyond.

America is a large country and its fairly industrial. A social change happened after the freeing of the slaves which will eventually be reversed after white men have felt the repercussions of living off the backs of others. For some time, white girls won’t be very interested unless you are either very rich, tough, religious or a mix of the three. A mix would be the most effective but it will get worse over the next 200 – 500 years after which America will start to see a strong culture forming. At the moment there is too much money to allow for a strong culture to form and we must face the consequences and suffering we caused white women and black men with sexual escapades made famous by the likes of Thomas Jefferson. One of our most famous founding fathers has many half-black children outside of his own home with a slave woman. The insult and pain is large, and America’s reputation as a melting pot begins at its birth. After two hundred years of painful youth, black success culminates in a tragedy of OJ Simpson and Nicole Brown.

Taking a woman into your life is no small matter and ownership issues quickly evolve. The fame of the situation brings public attention to an old pain which must be uprooted to make sure the air is clear between the races. If the problem persists. America risks losing its culture altogether and not seeing a deep set of values form based on Eastern American tradition. The light and fast paced culture of states like California should not be promoted over the older more robust culture of New York, Maine and Vermont. I make my own personal plea in this blog for Americans to be careful of the direction they are going and to make sure that the pot does not melt too much or some of the positive American values formed by our better Founding Fathers will be lost and we will not be able to see the light in our own direction.

At my last job, I was working well until I was recruited out by a family member, and screwed myself by being a blabber mouth and telling my colleague that I had a new job. My family member (my cousin) then cancelled the job opening and I was left looking disloyal to the company. Now I am looking for another job and I have to blame my cousin at every interview for cancelling the job opening making him look bad. If I give my own cousin a bad name around town I am not going to be the most popular guy. But if I don’t, I will have to take shit for leaving my job for "performance issues". My cousin didn’t have the brain to send me a job description or even really apologize. He just dismissed me as some two-bit piece of shit and said that he "might" help me look for another position, quote "even for you". What the hell? My cousin is a huge asshole, and I am afraid this may come down to a legal issue because if I can’t find a job in my city because of two lay-offs, I’m going to end up broke and homeless. That’s not too much fun, but I can’t just throw shit in my cousin’s face in the off chance he ever comes around to his senses and helps me repair the situation. If I am left high and dry by my own family, I can’t survive the bullying and alpha male competition in my job… Again… WTH?!

Hello,

I need to update my thoughts. I think the values that Obama’s parents instill aren’t very fulfilling ones. I don’t think that the nature of their relationship sat very well with me. Maybe this is my conservative side coming out finally at the ripe age of 27. I think Obama and his family are model citizens for the most part. I see right-wing crazy news sites like Fox News singling them out with pictures of Michelle Obama in Jean shorts coming off their plane. I am not sure exactly how to take the whole "change" but if you are very intelligent you will know that in reality there is no change.

Assuming Obama does a good job and maintains his performance through his presidency, I don’t think people will become enraged or threaten violence. I think there is a definite fear among many that an assassination would lead to unrest on a large scale. A feeling of a second civil war emerging or something of a tragic nature. Into his second term, it doesn’t seem like there is a large danger our outrage towards a black president, but I don’t hear all the conversations in private living rooms and watch all the political nut jobs on you tube.

Overall, I think it is a positive sign of progress as people become less prejudiced and threatened by the black population. America should continue to stand for family values and not become corrupted by a negative image of the president’s family. Father issues and equality issues aside, I don’t think people will regret Obama’s presidency in the long run as long as it encourages diversity in leadership and a moral backbone to the country’s people.

Hello Everyone,

Its been a while since I’ve posted on my blog, but I want to write yet another story to hash over as I am currently exploring a totally new environment, trying something on an international stage which is completely new to me.

Imagine you arrive at a skate park where a bunch of kids are on roller blades and skate boards. You have found a cheap way to produce mopeds for mass distribution and you think that this new group of kids will enjoy the mopeds as a new way to use their skate park. You had produced a few of these mopeds in a smaller environment and the first buyers enjoyed the mopeds and challenged you to different stunts and moves that was difficult but relatively enjoyable after some of the initial quirks about stunt rules and style had been worked out.

The new skate park is a mass market, far larger than the initial market, which could be considered a test market. After showing a few of the kids your new product, they begin to enjoy the new rides as it allows for them to do more dangerous and exciting stunts. You have arrived on your moped which is slightly modified to give you more CC engine capacity. After doing a few stunts, a line on your bike disconnects and you lose the spark plug power to your engine.

One of the kids in the skate park sees you reconnecting the disconnected line and realizes that even those these mopeds are more complex and fun to use, they also break more easily as they have more moving parts. Unhappy that you have arrived as the official distributor of the mopeds, the youth gets an idea to render your moped useless by rigging your electrical system and hiding a remote in his pocket to disconnect the spark plug at will. As you continue to ride in the skate park, the kids have all been clued into the system and frequently disconnect your plug leaving you stationary in the middle of the park.

Unable to ride and enjoy your product with the new group, you feel that the whole purpose of creating the mopeds has kind of been ruined by the crew. You begin to consider new parks and riders as a majority of the riders thus far have been quite ungrateful for your gifted, new rides.

After working for some months in a large organization and having the crap kicked out of me from every angle, I would like to summarize some of my experiences. The first thing I want to mention is that the theory of school goes straight out the window first day. None of that will really help. It helps you in a learning and knowledge process but otherwise there is little it will do to get the job done.

The amount of lying and mind games that go on are overwhelming at first. Cutting through the bullshit on a daily basis makes for the most work. If one is able to do this consistently, it is possible to rise through the organization, if not in rank, at least in one’s own mind. As kind of a loner, its easy to get played and pushed around by people who are smarter, tougher and more use to a world where survival of the fittest makes the most sense.

Being able to analyze is one of the most powerful tools I have found yet as one must be constantly analyzing the environment to keep apace with the quickly changing nature of people and organizations. Making accurate judgments and feeling your way through a problem becomes the cause of a lot of stress and anxiety as missing something or leaving a loose end can quickly mean loss of group in the group I work in. This is unfortunate because instead of assisting one another, the cut-throat nature of the environment makes for an organization that thrives off watching people fall rather than watching anything get built or created. It feels like a boxing match many days where throwing a punch and parrying must be timed perfectly or you will end up dazed and confused on the floor by the people around you who are looking for any spot in your defense to pound and punish until you squeal.

I have seen healthier groups of people and I hope to see groups of people who aren’t so caught in the gritty details of the individuals around them. As an end note, this post may appear quite negative, but it stems from the nature of the organization I exist in where you pour your heart and soul into every project only to be told that you aren’t good enough to be within a hundred yards of the building. Hopefully this isn’t an ongoing theme in all organizations.

Cheers!

P.S If you think anyone has grown out of bathroom humor, you’re in for a surprise.

It has been a while since I’ve posted anything and I feel its time to express myself through this medium as some of my other mediums are not being effective. This is a reflective piece on some events that have transpired and how they are sinking in after a few months. It seems in my initial experiences in the workplace that the personal and emotional side are much more important the the intellectual hoops one jumps through in the University setting. Of course, the preparation in the Universities is necessary and goes without saying that these mental tools assist you but its impossible to rely on them completely as there are so many more factors once the real work begins.

This inevitably leads my mind down a path of trust/betrayal and power where situations arise as quickly as they are resolved and one’s ability react appropriately is crucial to making it through unscathed. On a weekly or daily basis, this can be quite difficult as the people and information around you are constantly changing and being updated. This is where stress and pressure can build up and break you down if you are not prepared for the rigors of the intellectual/social dynamic. Although, this sounds very abstract without any people or places named, it is still very relevant to making a good impression on those around you and maintaining forward momentum in the surrounding business.

It seems the most frustrating part of my work so far is not so much the pressure and stress of managing situations but more the feeling of losing ground in a never ending rat race where people’s technical/job skills are often dwarfed by the people skills necessary to get ahead of the rest. Judging my own ability in people skills is not easy, but I would not grade them highly and therefore see a difficult future ahead in trying to get ahead of the competition in the eternal race to the top.
